1. Introduction
Colverano ("Colverano," "we," "us," or "our") is a digital marketing agency serving businesses across the United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information, and the choices you have.
2. Scope
This policy applies to colverano.com (the "Site") and to people who contact us through it. Information we handle while providing services to clients is governed by our client agreements.
3. Personal information we collect
Information you provide. When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, business name, phone number, and email address. You may also choose to share the services you're interested in, your website, and a message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our technology partners may collect:
- Your IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages you view, how long you stay, and the page that referred you
- Campaign information in the link you used, such as UTM parameters
- Advertising click identifiers, such as Google's gclid, gbraid, and wbraid and Meta's fbclid
When you submit the form, we also record the campaign information and click identifiers from the link you used, so we know which ad, card, or campaign brought you to us. We also record that you acknowledged this policy and when you submitted the form.
4. Sources of personal information
We collect personal information directly from you, automatically from your device when you use the Site, and from advertising platforms such as Google and Meta when you reach the Site through one of our ads.
5. How we use personal information
- To respond to your inquiry, call you back, and send you a quote
- To provide and manage services you sign up for
- To understand which marketing channels bring us inquiries, and to report conversions to advertising platforms
- To measure and improve the Site
- To protect the Site from spam and abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
6. Who we share personal information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting, email, form processing, and analytics providers. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
- With advertising platforms, such as Google and Meta, through the tracking technologies described in Section 7, so we can measure our advertising. This happens only if you allow marketing cookies.
- With people who work on your account, such as team members and contractors who need it to provide services to you. They are required to keep it confidential.
- For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or others.
- In a business transfer, if Colverano is merged, sold, or reorganized, as part of that transaction.
7. Cookies and tracking technologies
The Site uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies. Some are needed for the Site to work. The others, which help us measure visits and the results of our advertising, stay off unless you allow them. We use:
- Google Tag Manager, to manage the tags on the Site
- Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site
- Google Ads conversion tracking, to measure inquiries that come from our Google ads
- Meta Pixel, to measure inquiries that come from our Facebook and Instagram ads
These providers may collect information about your visit and use it as described in their own privacy policies.
If you decline or don't make a choice, no analytics or advertising cookies are set and the Meta Pixel doesn't run. Google's tags may still send limited signals without cookies or identifiers, which Google uses to estimate visits and conversions in aggregate.
Google reCAPTCHA. Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks for spam and abuse when you submit the form. Google may collect device, network, and interaction information, and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. The Site does not change your settings based on Do Not Track signals. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the Site keeps marketing cookies off, even if you select Accept All.
8. Your choices
Cookies. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of every page, or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser. To limit ads based on your activity, you can adjust your Google account's ad settings and Meta's ad preferences.
Calls, texts, and emails. When you submit the form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message, or email about your inquiry. You can ask us to stop at any time by telling us on a call, replying STOP to a text, or emailing support@colverano.com.
Your information. You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, unless we need to keep it for legal or accounting reasons. Email support@colverano.com with your request. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we aim to respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's law, and we will honor them where they apply.
9. Information security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections and access limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
10. Personal information retention
We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and follow up. If you don't become a client, we delete it within 24 months. Client information is kept for the length of our relationship and as long as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
11. Third-party sites and services
The Site may link to other websites and services, such as social media profiles. This policy doesn't apply to them, and we aren't responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies before sharing information with them.
12. Children's privacy
The Site is meant for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Where information is processed
We are based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed in the United States.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will also post a notice on the Site.
15. How to contact us
If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your information, email us at support@colverano.com.
